At each Charteroak location, intriguing, sustainable lodges are available for holidays, whether for a last minute get-away or a family holiday. A choice of styles, position and number of bedrooms is provided. Generally, there are both 2 and 3 bedroom lodge properties, most with their own private use hot tubs. A number of the homes also have contemporary wood burning stoves in the living room. Besides these gorgeous lodges we have a small selection of special properties, for example a one bedroom romantic “hide” set in the woods at Indio Lake in Devon, or a stunning 2 bedroom apartment with extraordinary outlook directly over the lake. We also have distinctive and highly specified stone barns, with outstanding views, near Sherborne in Dorset. Each location has been specifically chosen for it’s proximity to local facilities and activities. There will always be lots to do in the area of choice and many beautiful places to visit within a short distance, including fabulous coastal resorts. The venues are peaceful and private in their nature with stunning immediate surroundings. However they are all very close to small villages for convenience purchases & pub lunches etc. and never far from towns with larger facilities. All of the developments are well located to provide relaxing holidays but are close to main routes for ease of access.

Some lodges are provided by ourselves and others are made available by lodge owners who have purchased a lodge and wish to receive letting income as an investment. However, all lettings are managed by Charteroak Estates in order to ensure that the highest standard of comfort is provided and also to protect the peaceful enjoyment of each location.
